Today in Italy, there are a number of issuses that cause pollution. Air pollution from energy, heating, transportation and poisonous emissions from industries, polluted inland waters, acid rain and insufficient waste disposal programs are some of them.

Studies and reports of World Health Organization and other European Health and environmental agencies show that people die prematurely due to air pollution. In the Southern Italy, burning of toxic waste dumps outside Naples and other industial regians causes high rates of cancer, allergies and birth defects.

Water pollution is another grave environmental issue in Italy. The nation’s rivers and coasts have been polluted by industrial and agricultural contaminants, oil spillage, careless throwing of waste matter and plastic containers into rivers and waterways. This is a threat to all human, animal and plant life. On the other hand, excess use of vehicles send poisonous gases into the air. Selfish deforestation also lead to global warming and climatic changes.

It is our duty to help reduce these types of pollution. We can use public transport and for short distances we can walk or use our bikes. We must practise re-using of water and some items without throwing them away. We shold save energy and find cleaner energy resourses such as wind and solar power.We must plant trees as much as posible for freesh air and to reduce global warming.

The Rocky Mountains extend over 4500 km along the west coast of North America, from the Brooks chain in Alaska through Canada to New Mexico (New Mexico).

The mountains that are part of it underwent the first folds in ancient times and especially on horseback between the end of the Cretaceous and the beginning of the tertiary, when they also began to rise up.

Glaciers dating back to Glaciations are also responsible for valleys, glacial circles, morenes and fens that characterize this mountain range.
Even today large parts of it are icy throughout the year.

In Addition to glaciers, lakes and northern forests, the Rocky Mountains guard one of the world’s great natural wonders: the Grand Canyon, in the northwest of Arizona. This Gorge, perhaps the best known in the world, is about 400 km long, wide from 6 to 30 km and deep up to 1800 meters; It was excavated in the layers of Highland Rock by the Colorado River over millions of years.

She is a 16 years girl. Greta is a climate activist. She is an example to follow. SKOLSTREJK FOR CLIMATET (school strike for climate changes) this is her slogan.

But I’ve learned you are never too small to make a difference. But to do that, we have to speak clearly, no matter how uncomfortable that may be. You only speak of green eternal economic growth because you are too scared of being unpopular. You only talk about moving forward with the same bad ideas that got us into this mess, even when the only sensible thing to do is pull the emergency brake. You are not mature enough to tell it like is. Even that burden you leave to us children. But I don’t care about being popular. I care about climate justice and the living planet. Our civilization is being sacrificed for the opportunity of a very small number of people to continue making enormous amounts of money. Our biosphere is being sacrificed so that rich people in countries like mine can live in luxury. It is the sufferings of the many which pay for the luxuries of the few. The year 2078, I will celebrate my 75th birthday. If I have children maybe they will spend that day with me. Maybe they will ask me about you. Maybe they will ask why you didn’t do anything while there still was time to act. You say you love your children above all else, and yet you are stealing their future in front of their very eyes. Until you start focusing on what needs to be done rather than what is politically possible, there is no hope. We cannot solve a crisis without treating it as a crisis. We need to keep the fossil fuels in the ground, and we need to focus on equity. And if solutions within the system are so impossible to find, maybe we should change the system itself. We have not come here to beg world leaders to care. You have ignored us in the past and you will ignore us again. We have run out of excuses and we are running out of time. We have come here to let you know that change is coming, whether you like it or not. The real power belongs to the people. Thank you.”

In italy there are a lot of environmental problems, for exemple:

• There are different kind of pollution such as air pollution, sea pollution, sound pollution
• Climate changes 
• Industries 

      And other problems.

SEA, AIR AND SOUND POLLUTION

• Sea pollution: in the world everyday a lot of animals die such as fish, dolphins, sharks and others. This happens because of the trash of industries goes into the sea. Among these there are plastic, paper, glass bottle and they need a lot of time to be disposed. The waste is very dangerous for their body so, a lot of them die.
• Air pollution: this problem is caused by the smoke of industries or factories and cars  exhaust  gas emissions. All these imply the phenomenon of greenhouse effect
• Sound pollution: this type of pollution is caused by machines, transport and propagation system. Another cause is the high volume of the music in ears with earphones.

A huge problem is «the fire land» (la terra dei fuochi). We can find this zone in Campania, between Naples and Caserta. The industries give the waste to the criminal organization «CAMORRA» that bring the trash in the abandoned land creating an illegal waste disposal and burning all trash. But near it, there are harvest fields where the peasents grow vegetables. People eat this food and then they become ill. The most common illness is the cancer. This food is distributed all around the world too, because it is cheaper than others and it is used by big companies to make their commercial food such as tomato sauce.

All human beings have their limits. Although they wish to do better things or to have more than they own, they are afraid to go further, but we must be brave and try to be successful in life, by ignoring our fears or dangers we have to face.

A child’s limits are different from that of a an adult. He may be afraid to stand in front of the class to do reading or writing on the board thinking that the other students will laugh at his mistakes. If he tries to go beyond that, he will be successful.

In spite of their blindness Andrea Boccelli and Annalisa Minetti have become famous singers in the world. There are many more examples of this nature.

Bethany Hamilton is a famous American Windsurfer. When she was surfing, she got attaked by a shark and lost one hand.

With one hand she does wonders: she helps the poor, she gives a hand to those who treat sick people on camps. She is able to do all this because she went beyond her limits.

Like any other teenager of my age I also have a dream. That is to become a Mechanical Engineer. To realize this dream, I know that I have to study hard and enter The Engineering faculty of a University. There, I must study how machines are designed, built and repaired. With my academic studies I hope to have a good professional training. With these qualifications I will be able to apply for a job in the State Engineering Cooperation of the USA or in a Private Company. I hope to work hard and honestly to earn money for my living. I will look after my parents and travel round the world with them. One place I have in mind is the Holly Land.

I know that it is not as easy as I dream. I will have to face difficulties failures and challenges. But, I will never give up. I will try again and again and make my dream come true.
